Free Florida Nature Reserve near Disney World in Florida
If you are traveling to Orlando Florida near the main attractions you can enjoy a couple of hours away from the busy parks, shopping centers and the main hustle and bustle and enjoy a pleasant walk along quiet nature trails.
On our last visit we visited the Tibet-Butler Conservation Area: 8777 State Road 535, the shores of Lake Tibet-Butler, Orlando, FL 32836th Admission is free and practically only a stone's throw away from major theme parks The 440 beddingAcre Park you can experience the "natural" Florida.
On arrival, we stopped at the visitor center before taking one of the many hiking trails. The center has a series of exhibitions that will appeal to children and adults. There are a number of interesting "nature" of brochures, including "Living with Alligators" and a map. Children, in particular the interactive exhibition - press the frog-call to hear the different calls andprepared for the most authentic Thunder & Lightning display! Check the schedule of programs and guided nature excursions.
Once he had collected our map of the trails, we stopped at the vending machine - you should drink, bug spray, sunscreen and snacks too, so you can enjoy the trails in comfort. Rest rooms are located behind the visitor center.
We took the trail to see the Osprey. The course consisted of sand trails and highWalkways - we were lucky, an armadillo from the promenade in search of his food to see in the undergrowth. Osprey perspective, there are places where you overlook the pond on the big lake. We saw some beautiful birds such as herons and eagles. The children, I am sure, enjoy a few hours free to walk along the nature trails and boardwalks.
On the way back to the visitor center, we enjoyed a relaxing time sitting in the rocking chairthe porch. We then examined the cycle of wildlife, from the visitor center. There was what looked like a little 'high marmot us from his little cave, many small birds and a turtle.
There are picnic benches with the steps for the Visitor Center where you can enjoy a relaxing break.
