Central Florida's Wildlife: a richness of diversity
When you go to Florida, wildlife confronts you in the world. In particular, the exotic birds fascinated me, often coming close to subtropical bird species golf or a picnic in a public park
Central Florida is actually a more interesting destination for naturalists than I would have never expected. Florida has plants and wildlife are surprisingly diverse and Florida State is the 3rd most ecologically diverse in Hawaiiand California.
It is a nearly flat plain that to the sea on the east coast and west. The plain is unique physical properties that are associated with the different ecosystems that exist here. The mostly flat topography was created by fluctuations in sea level over time. coastal dunes, barrier islands, lagoons and rivers, tides that have been shaped by the tides, currents and winds.
The interior of Central Florida is characterized bySwamps, marshes and lakes, a paradise for birds. Hills south of Orlando is the Lake Wales Ridge, a ridge of sand dunes and sandy plains in parallel with castors. This ridge was an island in earlier geological periods when sea levels were higher. As a result, many species that are unique to exist here in this area.

The only alligator we saw was a stuffed version of Boggy Creek Airboat Tours.
Of course, the best known animals of Florida is an American alligator. And even if this time we do not see any (except for a gator tail sticking out under some bushes on our Swamp Buggy Tour), alligators havean incredible comeback after they were threatened with extinction, led by former fighters in the 20th Century. Alligators had to be taken by the Federal list of endangered species in 1987 and in particularly hot days can be seen sunning themselves on the edges of ponds and streams.

Many interesting mammals can also be found in Florida, including Armadillos, bears, beavers, lynx, deer, wild boars, foxes, manatees, minks, moles, opossums, otters, panthers, pocket gophers, rabbits, raccoons, seals, shrews, skunks, squirrels and weasels.
Of course, the reptiles are not only the American alligator, but anoles, geckos, lizards, skinks and turtles. amateur naturalists really enjoy your vacation in Central Florida.
