Wekiwa Springs State Park is well known by the people of Orlando, but it's a secret to most visitors. Tucked away in Apopka, the springs are a desertWonderland.
The most obvious thing in the park is its main source and the bathing area. The water is crystal clear and makes for some great snorkeling! But it is a bit 'on the cool side, on a cold 70 degrees Fahrenheit year.

The canoe is the biggest attraction at Wekiwa Springs State Park there are miles of river to paddle or just drive. The water is clear, make a cool canopy trees and the sky is blue. You can start at the top of the springs, canoeing on the river and then a shuttle back to "CanoeBeach "- the starting point.
