Florida Beach Vacation areas of the Panhandle
I have lived on the east coast of Florida for many years, but it was not until recently that I am a few days in the Panhandle. I was so surprised at how different it was from all the other places I had was in Florida, and I've been everywhere in Florida. Firstly, the water is a beautiful shade of emerald green and the beaches are white sand where the water along the east coast are a beautiful blue and the beaches are a beautiful shade of oatmeal, a veryContrast. One of the other things I noticed was how the area, especially in Destin, was so beautiful and peaceful. There were tree-lined streets, small pastel-colored houses outdoor mall, which sent a picturesque wooden frame buildings that were disguised to all brands and designer labels, and at least a dozen rather than well-manicured golf courses. I'm sure you all the beaches of Florida Panhandle as Pensacola and Panama City Beach is one, but let me tell you say about this in large patchesbetween.
Dotted along the road between Destin and Panama City Beach are the picturesque beach towns on the sea, Watercolor, Sandestin and Miramar. These towns are small and cozy, tree-lined streets and pastel-colored houses, they look like something from a movie. Hollywood, I thought, too, and so they decided to film the movie "The Truman Show," with Jim Carey in the city by the sea. If you ever get to Iceland, Hilton Head, South Carolina, Sandestin is a lot, as it is veryUnderstated and stylish. Sandestin is known for its fabulous golf courses and the Village of Baytowne Wharf, which is 50 boutiques and specialty retailer, is overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay. Watercolor is small, about 500 acres, but packed with many resorts and residential areas, all just waiting to be hired for the perfect holiday in Florida. Miramar is the place to shop. Home of the Silver Sands Factory Stores, it is called the largest designer outlet center in the U.S., theyhave more than 100 designer outlet stores.
Navarre Beach has soft white sand, emerald green water and is another place to stretch out and just relax. It is a great place to ride along the coast or kayak and see what fish are biting. Navarre Beach is the fastest growing community in Santa Rosa County, in part to a new and scenic road that connects to Pensacola Beach. While the greens may, for a round of golf at one of the many courses in the field to beat, everything is on Navarre BeachNature. Eight of the 12-mile beach here is part of the Gulf Islands Natural Seashore and is protected by the Government. You can go hiking, picnic, a bike along the trails, snorkeling, fishing and boating. Try horseback riding or bird watching with the family, Navarre Beach is a great place to be quiet and return to nature. They have many hotels, resorts and apartments should you choose to vacation on the beach.
Destin is also known, a large resort and one of thespectacular examples is the new Emerald Grande at Harbor Walk Village, 5-star resort is located directly on the seafront and is responsible for weekly rental. Reported even with an estimated 4.5 million people who visit the site, there are people who were living in Destin long year, and after a census of 2004, the figure that slightly more than 12,000 people
The East Pass, which is also Destin Pass, located at the western tip of the peninsula and is the only outlet of Choctawhatchee Bay in the Gulfof Mexico. The request was made that this pass was dug by hand, but it seems the early maps of the French, Spanish and English surveyors, this is probably not true. The East Pass must be dredged regularly to keep them navigable, the first known map of East Pass was hired by Don Francisco Tapia, who was pulled characterized the coast of Florida and the survey map.
The community Destin for over hundred and fifty years, starting asmodest fishing village. The city of Destin, FL and can trace its roots back to the 7th Century AD, when it is believed that the Indians have lived in the area. Destin for Captain Leonard Destin, identified in Northwest Florida, settled in 1845, he moved here from Connecticut and was a pioneer in the fishing industry. Today Destin is known as "World's Luckiest Fishing Village" and claims to be billed the largest, best-equipped fishing fleet in Florida Docks in Destin Harbor. When you visit, you can play golf, tennis and of course, not everything you can imagine themselves on the water, including snorkeling and diving. If you would charter a boat for fishing in the Gulf like, you will be the fact that the 100 Fathom Curve is closer to Destin than any other city in Florida to appreciate, making it the fastest way to the deep waters in the Gulf region.
No matter where you are in the Panhandle, when the day is done, do yourself a favor, choose a beach and make it a pointstop and just sit and watch the sunset, it's a reminder to take you and care for the rest of your life.
