South Florida Drought

South Florida into a severe drought over the last few months. It is so bad that people were restricted from watering their lawns once a week for 10 minutes. Any violation of this restriction was reported to the authorities and heavy fines were issued.

Lake Okeechobee (the big lake in the south central part of the state when you click on the map) dried to the point of the lake bottom was exposed, dried and cracked from the heat. Lake Okeechobee is ourSecuring the water supply.

The reason I am writing this because it is something that I do not understand. Perhaps it will be useful to others.

Know the City of West Palm Beach, to the extent of the shortage of fresh water granted permission to use Donald Trump 38000000 gallons per month (that's thirty-eight million gallons of water per month) to its golf course water. He was also allowed to drill a well for more water. This would go well next to the underground aquiferof fresh water. This information was as a phrase is given for fifteen seconds in the media and then ignored.

Well, to me it seems all the more important for the people to fresh water, as a golf course have to drink to keep the grass green. Perhaps the city of West Palm Beach is planning to convert sewage into reusable water, and that's given something to drink with the people, while its golf courses, clean water taken directly from the underground aquifer use. I do not know the answer.

What Ido not know, is the city of West Palm Beach should get its priorities right.
