Weezy F. Baby, otherwise known as Lil Wayne, Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. was born in New Orleans, LA, on 27 September 1982. He is also known by the monikers Birdman Junior, Raw Tune, Weezy or simply Dwayne Carter. He has been a resident of New Orleans until August 2005 when Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf states, causing great damage. He has since moved to Miami FL. Lil Wayne pretends to be "the best rapper alive since the best rapper retired."

Lil Wayne'smusical career began at the tender age of 11, after a meeting with Cash Money Records' owner and CEO Ronald "Slim" Brian. He quotes Pimp Daddy and UNLV (recording artists from Cash Money Records as well) as some of his early influences. After his meeting with Slim, Lil Wayne from high school fully exercise his dreams of rap artists. Another Cash Money executive, Baby Williams, signed him, Cash Money, where he has been. Baby not only as a musical mentor Lil Wayne's serves,but also as a father figure.

Weezy grew up with a stepfather who, like many young men from the city center, a handgun, which was unregistered. Lil Wayne shot accidentally while playing with it like a little child, and after waking up in hospital a few days later, the authorities pointed the gun at the owner. His stepfather was ultimately for the owning unregistered firearm and arrested imprisoned. Unfortunately, after his release from prison, he was kidnapped and killed.In memory of his stepfather, Wayne got "In Memory of Rabbit: It's Up To Me" tattooed on his arm.

At the age of 14 in 1997 founded the Hot Boyz Lil Wayne, together with colleagues, Juvenile, Turk and BG They released the highly successful album "Get It How You Live. The Hot Boyz immediately became famous in the South and Midwest.

When he was 16, Weezy released "The Block Iz Hot" and managed to begin his solo career. Four albums have followed since then, Lights Out, 500 Degreez, TheCarter and that Carter II
