2008-2009 NCAA Football Final Top 10 Predictions
1st Ohio State - I am an avid fan of Michigan, but have to admit, back 18 starters is run from an already solid 2 years to hit pretty hard. The talent at OSU on or about every elite level program in the country this season, and this should finally be there year.
* Win all .... If you pass an early season test @ USC (9 / 13). This could very well go the first of two meetings between the Trojans and Buckeyes in '08-'09, but the losing Game 1 is to have to hope for awobbly top 5 like last year. Win or Lose for the Buckeyes, they still have a shot at the end of the season in the NC Game.
* Possible obstacles ... @ Wisconsin, Illinois and @ @ MSU, with all 3 of them improved this season, could be hard as the last game at home against Michigan.
2nd Florida - A new edition of the '06-'07 game ends opposite way for the Gators, so too do the OSU that some of the SEC Supiority. (However, I strongly feel the SEC is the bestConference in the country, but that have for another day.) Tebow, Harvin, Moody, Gainey and Co. is an explosive offensive year and a youthful defense will cause fits all year.
* Win it if ... its simple, beat Miami (FL), Tennessee, LSU, FSU, Georgia and Arkansas.
* Possible obstacles ... The Schedule, Tebow durability. IMO this offense is not stopped, but it could potentially be obsolete, I guess.
3rd Georgia - Its very hard to getagainst the Bulldogs this season, almost all of them again, 15 + I think the timing could be the downfall. Matthew Stafford, Knowshon Moreno will again dazzle. Massaquoi is finally a star next to AJ Green for the big play threats. The defense will beat very fast and hard, I love Coach directional as well, he always has his teams prepared. Some of the big time recruits have great freshman seasons. Tyson, Harmon, and Jackson will all increase the D-Line.
* Win all... if you beat Florida on 1 November, IMO winning the SEC East will be a lock for the NC game, apart from tipping over in the SEC title game.
* Possible obstacles ... @ ASU, @ LSU, and @ Auburn is difficult to overcome, as well as Florida, 'Bama, and Tennessee at home.
4th Clemson I will for this pick I think, to hear, but I like this Clemson team, with a very favorable schedule and game breaker like CJ Spiller and James Davis. Bowers on the defensive side is alarge impact and Spencer Adams (S) and Brandon Thompson (DT).
* Win it if ... You do not stumble. You should be good if they happen to Game 1 vs. Alabama, that is, until the ACC title game. VT and possibly could be in Miami Bowl, the difference between BCS Champ Game or the orange.
* Possible obstacles ... Alabama, @ FSU, ACC title game and a lack of concentration or preparation for any other games, it's happened before that is a criticism of coach Tommy Bowden.
5th USC - 5is probably too low for this very talented team. QB Mark Sanchez (or possibly Mitch Mustain inherits) more offensive weapons than you could dream of, the only problem is the amount of pressure that brings.
* Win it if ... You get solid play from their QB. Both are his experienced and very talented, they do not have to be leaders playmaker. OSU at home, the typical Cal and Oregon games hard, and then the showdown with New UCLA.
* Possible obstacles ... Complete meltdowns fromboth QB's, trap games vs. ASU Cal, Oregon and Notre Dame. Very easily could play the title however.
6th Oklahoma - A very scary team 1 of about 8 teams with a legit title oppurtunity. Bradford & Co. will be huge again appear on the offense, and coach Stoops, "Defenses never fail. A lot of talent returning from last years young squad. The annual showdown with Texas is the biggest test, but Kansas, KSU, Nebraska, Texas A & M, Cincinnati and all will pose dangerous. And nevercount out Texas Tech either.
* Win it if ... They are consistent, they were all able in the last season up to that terrible Texas Tech game, a dangerous Mizzou squad awaiting them in the Big 12 title game.
* Possible obstacles ... Not many, only learn from their mistakes last season. Play Stoops' ball and dont let up vs. Texas and all the others.
7th Texas - could flip Oklahoma. One of the two wins the Big 12 South, a deadly defense must carry the burden in the big gamesfor they have a chance in a very offensive Big 12 this season.
* Win it if ... You win the Big 12 title, his do-able, but unlikely this year. McCoy will be huge if.
* Possible obstacles ... Colorado, Oklahoma, Mizzou, Tech, Kansas and Texas A & M, Big 12 title game. Thats 7 very tough games. Could easily slip.
8th WVU - she for real, I do not think they were, until the bowl game last season. This time is in many aspects of the guests, they only need to stay motivatedand do not get from Pitt or any other "underdog bite." Bill Stewart will not allow this program fall off. Pat White has a Heisman Longshot, Noel Devine will be the real deal.
* Win it if ... They do not rot. The competition for this season Auburn team is very big, but they played with the best of em last season vs. Oklahoma and showed they belong.
* Possible obstacles ... Cincinnati will be a tough game again, and Auburn, The Backyard Brawl, the Bearcats will be better is clearwill always be interesting.
9th Missouri - they are a boatload of starters Chase Daniel and Jeremy Maclin return + the best 1-2 punch in the country on a given day. The defense will win in a position to one or two games if necessary, the potential loss could injuries that we all hope will never happen, but could do a lack of depth hurt.
* Win it if ... You win the Big 12 title, who comes from the Big 12 could be a very serious game NC have submitted bid.
* PotentialRoad blocks ... Game 1 vs. Illinois in a game rivlary, Nebraska, Texas, Colorado and Kansas.
10th Michigan - I need to do it. I am a big fan of the Wolverines, and my optimism is really high right now. (Although I think 2010 is a real title fight). Rich Rod will have this team stronger, faster, hungrier, and more. A lot of the incoming speed and playmakers in Ann Arbor. One is young, quick, and swarming defense now in place also.
* Win it if ... They will not help, 10-2is easily accessible, but this could also quickly 6-6,7-5 type season as well.
* Possible obstacles ... Notre Dame, Illinois, Wisconsin, MSU, OSU, PSU, and all lie in wait.
Heisman Trophy: Chris "Beanie" Wells
