Fort Lauderdale is the perfect cruise port with beaches, Arts and Entertainment Fun
On the last trip to Fort Lauderdale, a friend and I were really with how the city is impressed grew up. When we were younger we used to come down here spring break and really enjoyed the area, an area which is now very cultural, but still fun.
We are always happy to Fort Lauderdale because the tropical climate is warm in summer and winters are mild, so many of our friends from the north down for a visit. The FortLauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is a great place for friends and family who are on a visit to South Florida to fly and be easily picked up. One of the world's busiest cruise departure ports, Port Everglades, is located just miles from the airport. This is handy for the four million cruise passengers each year get that by going to the ships that take them across the Caribbean, Europe and the rest of the world.
A great day trip if youspend some time in the area is the Everglades National Park The Everglades is pretty much a swamp, many birds and other animals live in it. The really beautiful and a great place to air a boat especially if you've never been on a ship of the air.
My friend and I lived in Fort Lauderdale and decided to go to Las Olas Blvd to the Riverwalk area. This is the art and entertainment district, even if the Broward Center for the Performing Artslocated. We did not want to see a game or modern dance recital, but we have in the Sunrise Cinemas leave. This is a great place to watch a movie with a unique turning to. According to the latest blockbusters or Indy movie, you can relax in the beer and wine bar in the lobby and discuss what you have just seen, we associate with some people, the table that we asked was, stocks did it is full, they were gracious, and we have new friends.
The next day we went back to the Riverwalk, catch a boat tour in the surrounding area. Yousee Fort Lauderdale is known as the "Venice of America" because it is crisscrossed by 300 miles of navigable waterways. We went back and forth on all channels looking for the magnificent architecture of the houses in the region and all the yachts. So to say that great area if you love the water, is an understatement. If you have a yacht or any kind of boat that is doing a lot of people here are going a perfect place to sail either on the Intracoastal, or as we, through theChannels.
Every year, usually in the autumn, has this great Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, named Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. It is the largest in water boat show in the world and seen more than three billion dollars worth of boats, yachts and super yachts such as electronics, engines and thousands of boating accessories. The Boat Show takes more than three million square meters of space, both on land and in water, but do not worry, they offera network of water taxis, riverboats and bus shuttles to help people to avoid. Maybe we came back for it, it sounds like fun.
The next day we decided to just relax and go to the beach. The Fort Lauderdale, there are 23 miles of beautiful beaches, so we knew we would find that we liked.These some of those who we have visited. Deerfield Beach is a bay and is ideal for a quiet peaceful day at the beach. Then there's Hillsboro Beach Hillsboro that the lighthouse has. This isthe perfect beach to sit and watch all the yachts and other boats because it is coming directly at the inlet. Pompano Beach was found for the Pompano fish named in the region, every year they host the Pompano Seafood festival and Fishing is a rodeo. It is here in the Gulf Stream, that this is some of the warmest and clearest water in South Florida makes bow. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is one of the few places in Florida where the three-tiered natural reef system is nearenough to the beach to swim and snorkel or dive, which we have, it was spectacular.
Fort Lauderdale is a great place to start a cruise, or spend a few days as we do. You may experience the arts, the beaches or enjoy themselves for a boot or festivals, shop or sight see and enjoy some of our fabulous Florida seafood. Fort Lauderdale has many ways of doing things, and warm sunny weather almost always they do in.
